Hey all! I've mentioned a few times here that I've been working on a sci-fi novel, and now it's ready for beta reading! If you love the idea of getting to read a sci-fi novel for free (and also my undying gratitude) then click on the link below and fill out the form! 

The novel is tentatively called Ariadne Rewired, and the first few chapters recently were shortlisted for Uncharted Magazine's Novel Excerpt prize. It is set in the same general world as Trigaea, but long before the events of that game, and it's very much an independent story. Here's the synopsis for the book:

In the distant future, world-renowned cognicist Rhen Nagami tries to forget his recently failed marriage by losing himself in his work. That’s when he hears about Operation Achilli, a job working on the world’s next AI - one that feels emotions just like a human can. Located in an underground facility on the edge of the Great Victorian Desert, the fringe project seems like the perfect place to hide from everything. 

At first, everything seems perfect. But when Rhen tries to bury himself in the project, he digs something else up instead. Secret messages in the code, each hinting the project is not what it seems. And soon, the isolation he sought feels less like a job perk and more like a pending termination package…
